Forsaken KingdomPandering is for fools
People are being such tools
Bracing themselves upon others rule

It's sad to say we're to blame
But it's a fact left undenied since they came

Only a short while ago they arrived here
Row upon row of boats and wagons were brought to bear
Crawling along at a snail's pace burdened by people and wares

They thoroughly destroyed us
Tearing our very fabric under their stress

Our city was brought to ruins
Remaining, they continued to leech

This was one of those fractals where I spent as much time on picking out a gradient as I did the fractal. Turned out well though, I'd say.

Regarding deep zooms in the Mandelbrot set, if you check out my deviation Cauliflowerfort and click the link under "Artist's Comments", from page 4 you can follow the entire zoom sequence in 28 steps :wow:
