Literature Text

Some might say I live in a day dream,
My hair shining under sun's glare.
Actually my mind is yearning for ice cream,
My day tarnished by your obnoxious dare.

If it were to conclude I really wouldn't mind,
Your face is one I no longer wish to see.
The sadistic joy you get from putting me in this bind,
Your acidic cologone drifting into air from beneath my tree.

The sky reminds me of what impact you've had,
Our troubles clouding the sun out for all.
Now that everything's definitely gone quite bad,
Our hopes lie in the wind as it blows against my shawl.

In other words it seems there's nothing to say,
My hopes ignited and flickering beneath drizzling rain.
Hands clutch to my skirt in brace for wind's chaotic play,
I no longer shine: flirting along the nape of my neck, my mane.

The world has fallen under your tyranny,
I guess it's time to leave, to let this be.
Plowing through wind I'm devoted to leave you again,
I declare this day as over: I'm no longer waiting underneath this maple tree.

I really like these lines (the rest too)!
